Thank you for visiting my website. I have been in the social service sector for over 15 years, and I have a master’s degree in social work. I have worked with various populations ranging from marginalized youth, adults with an acquired brain injury, and adults with a mental illness.
Although I work with a wide variety of people and cultures, I am passionate about working with the racialized community, and addressing challenges that many professionals are reluctant to tackle. Racism, oppression, discrimination, and internalized racism still exists, even in multi-cultural Toronto. I want to create a safe space either online or in-person where you can explore how systemic racism and discrimination has affected your mental health and well-being. It is important to know that you are not alone. Creating a safe space is my goal, which will allow us to further explore what brought you to counselling. I will be honoured to walk with you on your personal journey to recovery and wellness.
